The American manufacturer Garmin has just lifted the veil on its latest GPS, zümo 350LM which will be available later this year.In a size of 13.0 x 9.4 x 3.0 cm to 270 g, the zümo incorporates a screen in an IPX7 waterproof layer.

The latter incorporates functionality rather interesting. For starters, its 4.3-inch touch screen has been adapted to respond even when wearing gloves. In sunlight, it remains visible through its display of WQVGA 480 x 272 pixels. In addition, the route guidance voice turn-by-Turn is compatible with Bluetooth headsets and headsets. The navigation system also offers an overview of highway services (parks, rest areas, restaurants etc..). For added safety features Garmin, the lane assist to show the intersections, a speedometer and Track Draw to know the changes in height on the road. Also record your experiences with the GPS (date, mileage, etc. work.). Thanks to the BaseCamp, you can transfer and organize waypoints, routes and tracks 2D or 3D from your PC or MAC (available on Garmin). Last detail, the team is a robust battery lithium-ion battery that offers 7 hours of battery life. It also supports microSD cards (not included).

The Garmin zümo 350LM should be available in the third quarter 2012 at an MSRP of $ 699.99. It will come with the map updates for life for Europe and North America.
