Apple unveiled yesterday the next version of its IOS at the WWDC, a conference dedicated to developers who have already got their hands on a version of IOS 6.
Apple iOS 6 new
No iPhone 5 presented last night at the opening conference Apple held for developers, which was to be expected. However, the latest version of the OS manufacturer's iOS 6, has been offered. Almost all apple products can be upgraded to this new version. So we find in the list the iPhone 3G, 4 and 4S, all iPod 4th generation and later generations and the iPad 2 and the new iPad. The first iPad will therefore not receive the update.

Scheduled for fall, developers can already get the beta version of the operating system via their Apple developer account. Of course, some have already posted their demo video for those who missed a few things at the conference, if not the entire conference. So find some of the 200 new features announced for this iOS 6.

Maps

As is known for some time now, Apple had the idea to be without the services of Google, so goodbye and hello Google Maps Maps by Apple ... or TomTom as it is now the cards manufacturer's navigation system are used. Boasting a new design, the Maps application offers a 3D mode that shows the buildings in relief (mode which is not available for all parts of the globe) and a way to Fly Over an aerial view. There is also a navigation tool and Turn by Turn voice guidance. The different stages of the course are taken up by road signs on the top of the screen that just have to drag to discover along said path on the map. The system seems very responsive and smooth. Also new: Maps supports voice recognition via Siri.

Siri, let's talk.

The update includes the addition of a few languages that were previously not supported, but also illustrates the speech recognition system from Apple sees himself focused on the new iPad. Moreover, while it was initially presented as a "mere" personal assistant, the system takes a little insurance and extended its fields of expertise in sport or in a theater. It will be possible to ask the score of a game or what films are showing near you, and even make dinner reservations.

Facebook

The social network is now fully integrated with the Apple OS. We can now go configure your Facebook account once and for all directly in the Settings folder of its iDevice, which do not have to do it in every application that uses it. There are now able to update their status from the Notification Centre, alongside Twitter elsewhere, or sharing photos directly from any application that would support the social network. We also find the possibility of "Liker" applications directly from the App Store. The application features a new interface and will regain all his Facebook contacts easily. All their information will be automatically updated in applications such as Calendar, and on all your iOS devices.

Passbook

The new application is to allow passbook to gather all important sespapiers in a single place: loyalty cards, tickets, reservations, etc.. It will then scan your iPhone or iPod Touch to use a coupon or to register at the hotel. The application runs in the background and automatically load the documents that could be useful in the background by time and place where you are. Enter a store, and your loyalty card will automatically appear on your lock screen, for example.

Other innovations introduced by IOS 6:

The calling function receives new options, including that of "reject a call" or "call back later" and a new keyboard.
A menu appears Privacy: it can manage the information the user wants to share via some applications as well as with some people.
Do Not Disturb profile emerged: he can not receive any notification when activated. You can configure it according to time, but also persons to whom the user does not want it applies.
FaceTime Will work now on 3G and 4G and not just on a WiFi network.
The Mail application integrates a new VIP section Mail to retrieve messages from people that really matter.
