Galaxy S III how it stayed secret

While Samsung famous in France fourth in his Galaxy S III in terms of smartphone sales, the Korean's official blog tells the story of secrecy surrounding the terminal before its release. Within society, a culture of secrecy has skyrocketed

Cruel period for Samsung engineers, to whom he was forbidden to speak of the Galaxy S III to their loved ones, even more to take a picture, or risk their place within the firm. Some have gone so far as to speak of a double life, until May 3, when the official presentation of the smartphone to the public at a conference in London. The secret, however, was not only put outside the local Samsung service between the manufacturer, it was set up secure access cards, fingerprint readers, secure boxes for transporting the prototypes of S III, in short a real device worthy of a top secret brief. Even for deliveries to retailers, Samsung has chosen not to hire a subcontractor, to avoid leaks.

And prototypes that we have seen, then? There were three kinds, all three developed as if they were the final products. This means that engineers in charge of a specific part of the smartphone - the antenna, for example - had to repeat three times the same operation for different versions of the Galaxy S III. Without, of course, know which version would be marketed, especially since the prototypes were themselves carried in shells concealing their design, even within the campus Samsung. The manufacturer climbing an additional step to each version of its Galaxy S, what will he for a possible S Galaxy IV? In the meantime, read all the same test of our Galaxy S III!
