HTC is not in top form for some time now, and if sales of its range are good for One moment, it seems they were not up to the expectations of Taiwanese.
HTC's fell by 34% of its revenues are generated from the first quarter of 2012 which ended in March, months out of the range One of the manufacturer. The second half was then announced in a better light. This new range, driven by the excellent One X, had allowed the Taiwanese to revise their expectations upward since hoped to achieve a gross margin of 29% and an operating margin of 11.2% for income of $ 3.13 billion at the end of the quarter.

The response to One S, One X One V and of itself was very warm since he had even managed to praise the critics at its output (read our review of the HTC One X). The Taiwanese are forced to leave today sees these figures ambitious side, falling back to an expected income of 3.04 billion with a gross margin of 27% and an operating margin of 9%.

Are undoubtedly to blame the delayed outputs of One X and HTC HTC Evo 4G orchestrated by the ITC following the procedures launched by Apple for violating its patents. Indeed, if the One X is available in Europe since the end of March, the U.S. has had to wait until May, HTC depriving one of the most important markets for its new flagship. For its part, the HTC Evo 4G which was originally out on May 18 across the Atlantic comes only to invade store shelves, there's this few days.

Although there is still a good month before the second quarter is coming to an end, we should not expect to record sales for HTC terminals, especially since they have little to do deal with Samsung's Galaxy S III. Competition that would have been if the discharge planning of Taiwanese had not been disturbed. Anyway, if the One range is probably not enough to put HTC on track, it is nonetheless a step in that direction.
