ZTE is certified Windows 8

ZTE is certified Windows 8
While invitations to the Microsoft Windows Phone Summit have already been sent, the firm should welcome Samsung, HTC, Huawei and Nokia as expected. Another manufacturer is added to the list of guests who will introduce Apollo and Windows 8.

The firm ZTE has announced via a press release that it is the first Chinese manufacturer of terminals to be certified Windows 8. The alliance that has lasted a year between the Chinese and the American is a big step forward for both groups. Once discussions have begun to gravitate to Windows 8, this cooperation was expanded around this OS version. The negotiations have enabled ZTE to receive certification for its data card MF668A, after testing 8 WHCK Microsoft Windows (Windows Hardware Certification Kit).

Mr. He Shiyou, Executive Vice President and Director of the Division of ZTE Handset Terminal declares that "the certification Windows 8 is a tremendous success that validates years of work in the field terminals." In addition, the company aims to focus its efforts on research and technology development, hence the value of 8 for Windows tablets and smartphones.

To recap, the ZTE Tania was his first smartphone running Windows Phone brand. Unveiled at the PT / EXPO COMM China 2011 in Beijing, we met with him during the MWC 2012 (see: Pictures Tania ZTE).
