There is much talk of Windows 8, the next Microsoft operating system available for the x86, 32bit, x64, ARM and 64bit. Nevertheless, we must not forget his project for mobile phones, Windows Phone 8. Recently, we learned that all Windows Mobile Phone 7 would benefit from upgrading to Apollo. Some remained, however, skeptical about this statement made by Nuno Silva.

Freshly announced earlier this month, Nokia Care had actually performed the compatibility of the Nokia 900 with Apollo Lumia (read: Nokia 900 Lumia, compatible Windows Phone 8?). Further details should be added on June 20 when Windows Phone Summit in San Francisco. The Redmond company has sent several invitations to the event which promises a good overview of the OS. Among the guests, Samsung, HTC, Huawei and Nokia introduce normally Apollo on their upcoming smartphones. Note that the event will only last a single day, unlike previous years where it spread over three days. In addition it will be open to the public (front, reserved only for developers).

We do not know much about the latter system, but it should make many changes and corrections, including compatibility with multi-core processors.
