Sony Announces New Expert Compact: the Cyber-Shot DSC RX100 features a wide 20.2 MP Exmor CMOS sensor and a Carl-Zeiss lens scratched with a maximum aperture of f / 1.8 adorned with a ring adjustment.
Following its success with its interchangeable-lens ranges and NEX Alpla, Sony now presents a very promising expert compact: the Cyber-Shot DSC RX100. It will ship the first sensor Exmor CMOS 1 "of Japanese, a size similar to that of a Nikon but enjoying twice the resolution, or 20.2 MegaPixels. Able to capture more light than a sensor to 4 times less than conventional compact surface, it will be increasingly driven by an objective bright Carl Zeiss, the Vario-Sonnar T * ranging from a maximum aperture f / 1.8 to 4.9 equivalent to a 3.6x zoom, all combined with the BIONZ image processor very reactive. Burst mode can capture up to 10 frames per second at full resolution while the autofocus should operate in 0.13 seconds, depending on conditions well obviously.

Although the sensor has a 3:2 ratio, it is also possible to capture images in 6:9, 4:3 and 1:1. Moreover, these technologies will benefit and SuperImposing By pixels for noise reduction. With its range of sensitivity ranging from ISO 125 to ISO 25600, the DSC-RX100 should also be comfortable in low-light conditions.

The shallow depth of fields in maximum aperture, combined with seven blades of optics, should make a good bokeh while the focus area will benefit, in manual mode, the MF Assist technology for greater clarity. Among these seven blades, one will find lenses AA (Advanced Aspherical) for a high level of performance in minimal space. In addition, we will find a manual adjustment ring around the lens. Many functions can also be assigned to the FN button for direct access while a function can record up to three settings for different shooting.
